How to Supercharge A Glow With Non-Touring

July 15, 2017

This season’s most brilliant trend is non-touring—an effortless technique that’ll leave your skin glowy and dewy without having to cake your face. After all, with steaming temperatures it’s hard for your makeup to remain set and flawless throughout the day.

Despite of what the humidity index is, this effortless and very natural look will work perfectly for all skin types. Here's what you need to know!

Step 1- Illuminate your face

Depending on your skin type aim for a brightening primer. If your skin is oily, concentrate it only on your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, the tip of your nose, and on your brow bone. The same for combination skin, apply the product only on dry areas. But if your skin is dull and dry, blend the product all throughout your face.

Step 2- Use a BB cream or tinted moisturizer

Non-touring doesn’t require as many layers of makeup. Instead it focuses on subtle cream products. Apply a generous coat of either a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. What this step does is create a luminous finish.

But remember: Most BB creams and tinted moisturizers may not camouflage your blemishes as much as a full-coverage foundation. For an even canvas, dab concealer on your acne scars and underneath your eyes. This step will help even out your skin.

Step 3- Highlight

Since non-touring is a “glowy” look, I recommend sticking to creamy highlighters. Strategically add 2 coats of highlight on your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, the tip of your nose, and your brow bone, just as you’d do with strobing.

To conclude, softly shade your lids with an eyeshadow of your choice, and apply mascara. For a touch of color, glide a peachy or pink lipstick on your lips and voilà! You’ve mastered the art of non-touring!
