4 Products to Revive Your Skin & Eyes

April 10, 2018

I've always been a firm believer that good makeup looks best on a good canvas (your skin!). Just as you've heard that what you eat in private you wear in public, also adds up to the same equation that correlates with your cutis.

The idea of gently cleansing and hydrating your face and neck, every night, may seem daunting, but it has great anti-aging benefit and calls for healthy skin. If you're fond to the last two facts, I've got 4 products for the following morning that'll get you through the day, feeling fresh and very natural.

1. Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Price: $27, Sephora

There are many things we can't leave our home without—in my case, it's SPF and a good moisturizer. These two products mixed together balance out my skin, without leaving it oily or dry. I'm sure you'll love the creamy, yellow formula that I've used ever since I was 15.

2. MAC's Tropic Cool Times

In the day time, I don't like to wear a lot of makeup. In fact, my perfect look consists of mascara, blush, foundation and gloss. But on days that are a bit more humid than usual, I use a good eyeshadow to prevent oily lids. My favorite one at the moment? Fresh Blade my MAC—the very first one at the top left.

With this product you won't see a lot of pigment, especially if you have my same complexion. The light shade helps by opening up your eyes, giving a more awake illusion that's refreshed and revived.

3. Urban Decay's Naked Flushed

Price: $34, Sephora

I'm not a fan of contours that look drawn on; am I the only one who dislikes this? A good contour should look natural and with a dab of highlight, right?! Lately, I've been gravitating towards a simple, yet very versatile bronzer. But just as with any Urban Decay product, you have to be careful with the amount of product you put on the brush. A little goes a long way—this baby is packed with intense pigments!

4. Urban Decay's Rebound

Price: $32, Urban Decay

"Collagen Infused Complexion Prep Priming Spray..." Those are amongst the claims we love to read in makeup packaging. But is the hype really worth the purchase? Turns out...it is!

The spray is a good way of skipping your primer in the morning, and could be easily reapplied to refresh during the day.
